Girl Bosses to be Inspired by!

We could all use a little motivation to go after our dreams, and what better way than to learn from those who have done it!  We've gathered a list of some of our favorite girl bosses who are disrupting the business world and not letting anything stand in the way of reaching their goals.  Read on to learn more about them!

1. Sophia Amoruso
Sophia has basically invented the term "Girl Boss".  In 2006, Sophia started her own business - Nasty Gal.  She has grown this to be a major success and a worldwide known brand.  In addition, Sophia wrote her own book called #GIRLBOSS in 2014, which was a New York Times best seller!  This book was then turned into a Netflix show called Girlboss.  Now, Sophia is the CEO and co-founder of Girlboss - a community meant to redefine success for millennial women.  Talk about girl power!

2. Jane Lu
Jane started Showpo in 2010 with the goal to be girl's go to place to shop!  Since then, she has been named online retailer of the year, been listed on the Forbes 30 under 30, and Cosmo Girl Boss of the Year!  While her Instagram handle is @thelazyceo , there has been nothing lazy about this girl boss' rise to success!

3. Emily Weiss
Emily started the website "Into the Gloss" in 2010.  The website is known for doing profiles on women about careers, their favorite products, and how the beauty world is changing for women.  In 2014, Emily along with the team at Into the Gloss started a beauty company, Glossier. In just 4 years Glossier has grown to be very well known with over 1 million followers on Instagram!

4. Adriana Carrig
How could we have a girl boss post without including our very own girl boss, Adriana!  Adriana started Little Words Project in her parents garage almost 5 years ago.  After facing bullying her entire life, Adriana wanted to create a product that could help spark real change in girl world - by fostering a community of kindness amongst women she has accomplished that goal!  Little Words Project has grown immensely since its humble beginnings in her parents garage, and there's even more exciting things coming!
