Celebrating Breast Cancer Warriors: Stories of Strength and Hope
Hi Nice Nation!
This year to honor and celebrate everyone affected by breast cancer, we have created New Little Words Big Impact bracelets for Breast Cancer Awareness. 25% of net proceeds from the sale of these bracelets will help the American Cancer Society provide life-saving research, treatment and care for people living with cancer and their families.
Survivor
When we least expect it, life hits us with an insurmountable challenge. But you are not defined by your circumstances. You are defined by your strength. Wear this bracelet as a constant reminder of what you’re made of.
Warrior
There’s nothing more resilient than the human spirit. We get knocked down. We get back up. And each time, we get stronger. Wear this bracelet to access the fearless warrior in you.
Custom Option
A bracelet for cancer survivors, thrivers, and supporters. Customize it with a mantra that anchors you to your strength, and a pink ribbon charm special for this month.
So many in our community have been impacted, and we wanted to highlight a few of the amazing stories shared with us through our bracelet registrations.
“In March of 2023, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Two beautiful friends sent me this bracelet after surgery. I've worn this bracelet every day to remind myself to fight with everything I have. I am immensely grateful for the reminder. I fight to remain positive. I fight to remind myself that cancer does not define me. I fight for every moment I have with my beautiful family. And I fight for the friends I have lost to breast cancer along the way. I am a warrior.”
Lia C., Hackettstown, NJ
“I was recently diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. Despite the awful side effects of chemo, I am so grateful for so many things. A physician’s assistant encouraged me to always follow up my routine mammogram with an ultrasound mammography (for dense breast tissue). Her advice saved my life!! They found my cancer early and it’s completely curable. I will be able to see my 9 and 7 year old grow up!!”
Kristie V. Cumberland, RI
“I choose this word as I embark on treatment for triple negative breast cancer. So much of being treated for breast cancer has the potential to strip a person of what they feel or connect to as their womanhood, early menopause for those of us who are younger (I just turned 40), loss of fertility (a particularly hard one for me as I have no kiddos), loss of hair, etc. this bracelet reminds me not to be fearful and to try to find the joy and the lessons in this journey.”
